میں نے صبر سے خُداوند پر آس رکھی۔ اُس نے میری طرف مائل ہو کر میری فریاد سُنی۔<br />

اُس نے مجھے ہولناک گڑھے اور دلدل کی کیچڑ میں سے نکالا اور اُس نے میرے پاؤں چٹان پر رکھے اور میری روش قائم کی۔<br />

اُس نے ہمارے خُدا کی ستایش کا نیا گیت میرے مُنہ میں ڈالا۔ بہتیرے دیکھینگے اور ڈرینگے اور خُداوند پر تُوکل کرینگے۔<br />

۴<br />
<br />
مُبارک ہے وہ آدمی جو خُداوند پر تُوکل کرتا ہے اور مغروروں اور دروغ دوستوں کی طرف مائل نہیں ہوتا۔<br />

<br />
اَے خُداوند میرے خُدا! جو عجیب کام تُو نے کِئے اور تیرے خیال جو ہماری طرف ہیں وہ بہت سے ہیں۔ میں اُن کو تیرےحضور ترتیب نہیں دے سکتا اگر میں اُن کا ذکر اور بیان کرنا چاہوں تو وہ شمارسے باہر ہیں۔ <br />

قُربانی اور نذر کو تُو پسند نہیں کرتا۔ تُو نے میرے کان کھول دِئے ہیں۔ سوختنی قُربانی اور خطا کی قُربانی تُو نے طلب نہیں کی۔ <br />

تب میں نے کہا دیکھ! میں آیا ہوں۔ کتاب کے طُومار میں میری بابت لکھا ہے۔<br />

اَے میرے خُدا! میری خُوشی تیری مرضی پُوری کرنے میں ہے بلکہ تیری شریعت میرے دِل میں ہے۔<br />

میں نے بڑے مجمع می صداقت کی بشارت دی ہے دیکھ! میں اپنا مُنہ بند نہیں کُرونگا۔ اَے خُداوند! تُو جانتا ہے۔ <br />

میں نے تیری صداقت اپنے دِل میں چھپا نہیں رکھی۔ میں نے تیری شفقت اور سچائی بڑے مجمع سے نہیں چھپائی۔ <br />

اَے خُداوند! تُو مجھ پر رحم کرنے میں دریغ نہ کر۔ تیری شفقت اور سچائی برابر میری حفاظت کریں۔<br />

کیونکہ بے شمار بُرائیوں نے مجھے گھیر لیا ہے۔ میری بدی نے مجھے آپکڑا ہے۔ ایسا کہ میں آنکھ نہیں اُٹھا سکتا۔ وہ میری سر کے بالوں سے بھی زیادہ ہیں۔ سو میرا جی چھوٹ گیا۔<br />

اَے خُداوند! مہربانی کر کے مجھے چھڑا۔ اَے خُداوند! میری مدد کے لئے جلدی کر۔<br />

جو میری جان کو ہلاک کرنے کے درپے ہیں وہ سب شرمندہ اور خجل ہوں۔ جو میری نقصان سے خُوش ہیں۔ وہ پسپا اور رُسوا ہوں۔ <br />

جو مجھ پر اہاہاہا کرتے ہیں وہ اپنی رُسوائی کے سبب سے تباہ ہو جائیں۔ <br />
