			In the Textus Receptus, and in the Byzantine Majority Text, they are all occurrences of one and the same word in different noun cases. Such is the case also with the Critical Text, except that it appears to me that the Critical Text has a grammatical error.

			The text as it appears in the Textus Receptus and the Byzantine Majority Text:

			:ἴδε οὖν χρηστότητα καὶ ἀποτομίαν Θεοῦ· ἐπὶ μὲν τοὺς πεσόντας, ἀποτομίαν· ἐπὶ δέ σε, χρηστότητα, ἐὰν ἐπιμείνῃς τῇ χρηστότητι· ἐπεὶ καὶ σὺ ἐκκοπήσῃ.

			The two instances of χρηστότητα are simply χρηστότης in the accusative case, because both of them are direct objects of verbs. "Behold the χρηστότητα...Θεοῦ - "the kindness of God." Here, "kindness" is what we are to behold, and hence it is the direct object of behold: and thus, the use of the accusative case. Then the verse says, "Upon thee, kindness (accusative - because it is the kindness which we behold in the first branch of the verse). ἐπὶ δέ σε, χρηστότητα. This again uses the accusative case, because it is the same kindness we were directed to behold in the open words of the verse. The last instance is in the dative case, because it speaks of abiding IN the kindness - and the preposition "in" always takes the dative case.

			The Critical Text has ἐπὶ δὲ σὲ χρηστότης θεου - "Upon thee, kindness of God - but this to me seems to be a grammatical error, because χρηστότης here refers to the "kindness which we are to be beholding, and thus, it should agree in case with its antecedent which is in the accusative. But the form that the Critical Text uses is the nominative case, which makes it the SUBJECT of either a new sentence or a clause, which dissevers it from the rest of the verse before it. Because here, in warning us to abide in God's kindness, Paul is simply speaking of the one and same kindness he referenced before, the kindness that we are to behold. If we continue, then the kindness which we see will be upon us.

			But as mentioned, the inappropriate use of the nominative case by the Critical Text dissevers this phrase from the rest of the verse before it, such that grammatically, it does NOT refer to the kindness spoken of in the previous branch of the verse.

			The Critical Text is simply mistaken.
