== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].[4] It belongs to the textual family [[Family Kr|Kr]].[5] Its text is very close to the codex [[Minuscule 480|480]].

== History ==

According to the [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] from Epistle to Hebrews the manuscript was written by scribe named Methodius (in 6866). Formerly the manuscript belonged to the monastery S. Marco in Florence. Later it belonged to [[Samuel Butler]] Bishop of [[Lichfield]].[2]

[[Giovanni Lami]] was the first who described the manuscript. It was examined by [[Johann Jakob Wettstein|Wettstein]], [[Andrew Birch|Birch]], [[Johann Jakob Griesbach|Griesbach]], Bloomfield, [[Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener|Scrivener]], and Gregory (1883). Griesbach placed it twice on his list of manuscripts of NT, as 107 and 201.[2]

It is currently housed at the [[British Library]] (Add. 11837. 1357), at [[London]].[1]
