'''Minuscule 265''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 285 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 12th century.[1]

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 372 parchment leaves (25.1 cm by 19 cm). Written in one column per page, in 19 lines per page.[2]
It contains tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections (Mark 233 - 16:8), and [[Eusebian Canons]]. Matthew 13:24-33 was added by a later hand.[2]

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] did not place it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts|Category]].[3]
It belongs to the textual family [[Family Π|Π]].

== History ==

The manuscript once belonged to Philibert de la Mare.[4]
The manuscripts was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).[5]

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Bibliothèque nationale de France]] (Gr. 66) at [[Paris]].[1]
