The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].[6]
Wisse lists it as [[Family Kx|Kx]].

== History ==

The manuscript was held in [[Escorial]], then it belonged to [[Charles Burney]], as codices [[Minuscule 480|480]], [[Minuscule 481|481]], [[Minuscule 482|482]], [[Minuscule 484|484]], and [[Lectionary 184|'''ℓ''' ''184'']].[3] It was purchased to the [[British Museum]] in 1818.[2]

The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener|Scrivener]], who thoroughly it examined and collated. Scrivener published its text in 1852.[7]

It is currently housed at the [[British Library]] (Burney 23) in [[London]].[1]
