'''Minuscule 300''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), A141 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 11th century.[1]

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the [[Gospel of Matthew]], [[Gospel of Mark]], [[Gospel of Luke]] on 328 parchment leaves (33 cm by 23 cm), with a commentary. Written in one column per page, in 27-28 lines per page.[1] It contains the [[Eusebian Canons|Eusebian tables]], tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]], [[Synaxarion]], [[Menologion]], and subscriptions.[2]
The biblical text is surrounded by a [[Catena (Biblical commentary)|catena]]. On a margin were added, by a later hand, commentaries of [[John Chrysostom|Chrysostom's]] on Matthew, [[Victorinus|Victor's]] on Mark, and [[Titus of Bostra]] on Luke. Subscriptions to the first three Gospels are the same like that in codex [[Minuscule 262|262]]. It has the famous [[Jerusalem Colophon]].[3]

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].[4]

== History ==

The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).[5]
It was collated by Scholz, Martin, Rose.[2]

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Bibliothèque nationale de France]] (Suppl. Gr. 186) at [[Paris]].[1]
