21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than them?

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
30 Now if God clothes the grass of the field like that, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or, ‘What shall we drink?’ or, ‘What shall we  wear?’

32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
33 But you, seek  first  the  kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will be concerned  for  the  issues  of itself. Sufficient for the day is its own evil.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
