1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came into His own city.
C H A P T E R 24 
2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”
1 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
3 And, immediately some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”
2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be one stone left here on another, that shall not be thrown down."
4 But Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?"
5 Because which is easiest to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk?’
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” then He said to the paralytic, “Rise up, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and shall deceive many.
7 And he rose up, and departed to his house.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
8 Now when the crowds saw it, they marveled, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
9 And as Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he rose up, and followed Him.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
9 "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
10 And then many shall stumble, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
12 But when Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ Because, I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
14 Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?”
13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come."
16 No man puts a piece of new cloth on old clothing, because, the patch rips away from the clothing, and the tear is made worse.
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
17 Neither do they put new grape juice into old containers, or else the containers break, and the grape juice spills out, and the containers perish. But they put new grape juice into new containers, and both are preserved.”
16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.
18 While He spoke these things to them, behold, a certain ruler came, and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand upon her, and she will live.”
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
19 So Jesus rose up, and followed him, and so did His disciples.
18 Do not let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
20 And, suddenly a woman, who had a discharge of blood for twelve years, came from behind Him, and touched the edge of His clothes.
19 And woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse children in those days!
21 Because she said within herself, “If only I may touch His clothes, I will be made well.”
20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her, He said, “Be cheerful daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
23 And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the musicians and the crowd making a noise,
22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
24 He said to them, “Make room, because the girl is not dead, but is sleeping.” And they laughed and mocked at Him.
23 "Then if any man says to you, 'Behold, here is Christ,' or 'There,' do not believe it.
25 But when the people were put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
24 For false christs and false prophets shall arise and shall show great signs and wonders, to such a degree that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
26 And the fame of this went out into all that land.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
27 And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, and saying, “You, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go forth, or 'Behold, He is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it.
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
28 For wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus firmly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
31 But when they had departed, they spread the fame about Him in all that country.
30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a mute man possessed with a demon.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, “It has never been seen like this in Israel!”
32 "Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
34 But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”
33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
36 But when He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were exhausted, and scattered everywhere, like sheep having no shepherd.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
37 Then He said to His disciples, “Truly the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
36 "But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest that He will send out laborers into His harvest.”
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
