1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth. And to him was given the key to the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit, like the smoke of a large furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
1 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
3 Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth. And to them was given authority, as the scorpi-ons of the earth have authority.
2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be one stone left here on another, that shall not be thrown down."
4 And they were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?"
5 And they were not given permission to kill them, but that they should be tormented for five months. And their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
6 And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; and will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and shall deceive many.
7 And the shape of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle. And on their heads were like crowns of gold, and  their  faces  were  like  the faces of men.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
8 And they  had  hair  like  women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running to battle.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
10 And they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. And their power was to hurt men five months.
9 "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
11 And they had a king over them, who is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon, but in the Greek language his name is Apol-lyon.
10 And then many shall stumble, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
12 One woe is past, and behold, still two more woes are coming after this.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.
13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill the third of mankind.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come."
16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; and I heard the number of them.
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision:  So  those  who  sat  on  them had breastplates of fire, and sapphire, and sulfur;  and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.
16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.
18 By these three a third part of mankind was killed, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
19 Because, their power is in their mouth and in their tails; because their tails were like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
18 Do not let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
  20 But the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues, yet did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk;
19 And woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse children in those days!
21 neither did they repent of their murders or of their sorceries or of their sexual immorality or of their thefts.
20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 "Then if any man says to you, 'Behold, here is Christ,' or 'There,' do not believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets shall arise and shall show great signs and wonders, to such a degree that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go forth, or 'Behold, He is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 For wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
32 "Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
36 "But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
