2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.
1 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
3 And I saw one of his heads as if it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the beast.
2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be one stone left here on another, that shall not be thrown down."
4 And they worshipped the dragon who gave power to the beast, and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?"
5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given to him to continue forty-two months.
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven.
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and shall deceive many.
7 And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And power was given to him over all tribes and tongues and nations.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
8 And all who dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
9 If any man has an ear, let him hear.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity. He who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
9 "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.
10 And then many shall stumble, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
13 And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
14 and deceives those who dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles that he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to those who dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast, who had the wound by a sword and lived.
13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
15 And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come."
16 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
17 and that no man might buy or sell, except him who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
18 Do not let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse children in those days!
20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 "Then if any man says to you, 'Behold, here is Christ,' or 'There,' do not believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets shall arise and shall show great signs and wonders, to such a degree that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go forth, or 'Behold, He is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 For wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
32 "Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
36 "But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
