1 And I looked, and behold, a Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
C H A P T E R 24 
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder. And I heard the voice of harpists playing with their harps.
1 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
3 And they sang what seemed like a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders. And no man could learn that song but the one hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be one stone left here on another, that shall not be thrown down."
4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?"
5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people—
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and shall deceive many.
7 saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come. And worship Him who made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters."
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
8 And another angel followed, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
9 "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
10 And then many shall stumble, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come."
16 And He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
17 And another angel came out of the temple that is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.
18 And out from the altar came another angel who had power over fire and cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are fully ripe."
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
18 Do not let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even to the horses' bridles, for a distance of one thousand six hundred furlongs.
19 And woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse children in those days!
20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 "Then if any man says to you, 'Behold, here is Christ,' or 'There,' do not believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets shall arise and shall show great signs and wonders, to such a degree that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go forth, or 'Behold, He is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 For wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
32 "Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
36 "But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
