1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
C H A P T E R 24
2 In the middle of its  street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, that bore twelve types of fruit, and yielded her fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
1 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
3 And there will be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him.
2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be one stone left here on another, that shall not be thrown down."
4 And they will see His face, and His name will be in their foreheads.
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?"
5 And there will be no night there: And they need no lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God gives them light. And they will reign forever and ever.
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
6 And he said to me, “These sayings are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things that must suddenly take place.
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ,' and shall deceive many.
7 “Behold, I come suddenly! Blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
8 And I, John saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that, because, I am your fellow servant, and of your breth-ren the prophets, and of those who keep the sayings of this book. Worship God.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
10 And  he  said  to me, “Do  not  seal the sayings of the prophecy of this book, as the time is at hand.
9 "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
11 He  who  is unjust, let  him  be un-just still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
10 And then many shall stumble, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
12 “And behold, I am coming suddenly; and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according as his work shall be.
11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the be-ginning and the end, the first and the last.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
15 Because outside are dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and mur-derers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come."
16 “I  Jesus, have  sent  My  angel  to testify  to  you these things in  the churches.   I am  the  Root  and the Offspring  of  David, and  the  Bright and Morning Star.
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),
17 And the  Spirit and the  bride  say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. And whoever wills, let him take the water of life freely.
16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains.
  18 Because, I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone will add to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
19 and if anyone will take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.
18 Do not let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
20 He who testifies these things says, “Surely I am coming sud-denly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
19 And woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse children in those days!
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 "Then if any man says to you, 'Behold, here is Christ,' or 'There,' do not believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets shall arise and shall show great signs and wonders, to such a degree that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the desert,' do not go forth, or 'Behold, He is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 For wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
32 "Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near—even at the doors.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
36 "But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left.
42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at such an hour as you do not think.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.
47 Truly, I say to you that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays his coming,'
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and shall cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
