3 And when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread."

7 Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'"
7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead. And behold, He is going before you to Galilee. You shall see Him there. Behold, I have told you."
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them,
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell My brothers that they should go to Galilee, and there they shall see Me."
11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and revealed to the chief priests all the things that were done.

13 saying, "Say, 'His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we slept.'
14 that it might be fulfilled what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

16 the people who sat in darkness saw great light, and to those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has sprung up."
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to a mountain that Jesus had appointed for them.

17 And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him, but some doubted.
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers—Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother—casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All power has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."
19 Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 And immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
20 teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." Amen.
21 And going on from there, He saw two other brothers—James the son of Zebedee and John his brother—in a ship with Zebedee, their father, mending their nets. And He called them,
22 and they immediately left the ship and their father and followed Him.
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24 And His fame went throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all sick people who were taken with various diseases and torments, and those who were possessed with demons, and those who were insane, and those who were paralyzed—and He healed them.
25 And there great multitudes of people followed Him, from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.
