* 1 “Is there not an appointed time for man on earth? Are not his days also like the days of a hired servant?


* 2 Like a servant who earnestly desires the shade, and like a hired servant who looks for his wages,

* 6 “My days are faster than a weaver’s shuttle, and are concluded without hope.

* 7 O remember that my life is wind! My eye will no longer see good.

* 8 The eye of him that has seen me will see me no longer; your eyes are upon me, then I am gone.

* 21 And why do You not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity? As for now I will sleep in the dust, and You will seek me in the morning but I will no longer be.”
